RBF wins best music video for 2009 (Ding Dong ‘Holiday’) and gets in the gleaner
Wow! It was with great pleasure that we accepted this award, well to be honest we weren’t there but Ding Dong accepted it on behalf of us. The Road Block! Films team has been very humbled and extremely appreciative of everyone who has supported us and are happy we could be a part of this project from inception. So a HUGE thank you goes out to all who made this possible, God bless you all and stick with us as we try and do it again in 2010.

Ding Dong – Holiday [Official Video]
Here’s a new release from the ‘Road Block! Films’ team, keeping things moving, we have a few more new releases to get up here this month. Biggups to ‘Notice Production’ who produced the track, and ‘UTH music’ for making the connection. Shooting this video was a very pleasant experience! The energy from ‘Ding Dong’ and the Ravas Clavas was beyond that of the average person, crew, or jam-alien.

UPL’s New Single ‘My Mamma’

The individually experienced, but newly formed group ‘UPL’ releases their first single together ‘My Mamma’. The track was produced by ‘Symphomania Music’, and since it’s release has been shaking the wax in more and more eardrums, with spins at many popular party destinations: ‘Bembe’, ‘Weddy’, and ‘Passa Passa’. It has also received generous airplay from renown radio disc jockey; ‘DJ Liquid’.
‘UPL’ has indicated thier enthusiasm to have Tele-Kinetic Pictures shoot the video for the new single, and likewise we are enthused to work with them. Sign up for the ‘Kleak’ newsletter to automatically receive updates regarding our upcoming projects.

We’re very pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Pro Flim/Video forums‘, feel free to stop by and register for free. Our intention is to create a free resource for access to information regarding the ‘Pro Film/Video’ industry, including still photography. So head on over and check it out, register, post up some useful info and read some in return (or vice versa 
.
We’ll be making posts as much as possible about things we believe are of interest to fellow lovers of this wonderful and entertaining industry, feel free to ask questions, we’ll be answering them to the best of our ability.
One last thing, we’ll be selecting possible candidates over the life of the forum who we feel exhibit the necessary qualities to become moderators, we will contact said persons and upon your approval will give you a shot at being a ‘moderator’. There will be benefits to becoming a moderator (more so for locals, but not limited to locals), these benefits will include backstage passes to some of our shoots & events among other things.

Richie Spice – Street Life [Pre Release]

This passing week the ‘Tele-Kinetic Pictures’ team had sealed the deal and began shooting the video (Richie Spice – Street Life).
The pre-production has successfully been finished as of yesterday, and the post production work has begun. We will be updating this post on the blog, as soon as the behind the scenes pics and video have been sent over from our capture team.
UPDATE:
We haven’t got our hands on the behind the scenes footage as yet (we didn’t shoot our own behind the scenes this time around bcoz we were short staffed on this day), but rest assured that as soon as we receive it, we’ll be updating this post again.
